With over four decades of water management experience serving southern California including the Santa Clarita Valley, Dan Masnada is the right choice.
Sustainable development and high quality of life are not possible without adequate and reliable water supplies. SCVWA’s water management and infrastructure have played a key role in supporting our growing population and sustaining local employment. As a result, Santa Clarita residents and businesses have benefitted from a water supply portfolio that has been the envy of many other southern California communities.
My qualifications and experience for serving on the SCVWA Board are as follows:
City of Santa Clarita Planning Commissioner from 2019 to 2022
General Manager of the Castaic Lake Water Agency (CLWA), predecessor to SCVWA, from 2002 to 2015
Executive Director of the Central Coast Water Authority (CCWA) from 1992 to 2002
Manager – Natural Resources of The Newhall Land and Farming Company from 1989 to 2002
CLWA Director from 1987 to 1992
Managing Director and Vice President of Valencia Water Company from 1985 to 1992
